To facilitate this mission, the BAC applies for grants from the North Dakota Council on the Arts and uses those grant dollars, along with membership dollars, to provide funds for artistic events and opportunities for participation in the arts. We would like to partner with you to help facilitate your artistic event or opportunity. The Arts CenterThe Arts Center is an exhibition gallery with exhibits changing monthly. Adult and student classes and performances are held throughout the year. Contact - 701-251-2496.
Barnes County Historical MuseumThe newly remodeled Museum has many distinct and historical displays. It features a 28-foot-to-scale replica of the Hi-Line Bridge, miniature railroad, railroad memorabilia, gift shop, souvenirs, and visitor information. Feel free to contact the Museum at 701-845-0966.

J. Allen GalleryJ. Allen Gallery is a local gallery that displays an ever-changing collection of regional art. The pieces are displayed on the walls and shelves of the Securian Financial Advisors office here in Valley City.

The Valley City Area Community TheatreThe Valley City Area Community Theatre (VCACT) organization exists to promote and encourage theatrical arts for amateurs in the Valley City area. VCACT has sponsored at least one production a year for the past 20 years.

The Valley TroubadoursThe Troubadours male chorus, founded in 1976, is comprised of 40-45 members who sing at 10-15 concerts or events each year. There are no auditions; rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings, September through May. 701-845-0548.

The Valley Voices Women's ChoirThe Valley Voices Women's Choir offers women in the Valley City area the opportunity to perform in a unique vocal ensemble. The group performs regularly for community concerns and events.
